Error when converting back an .xml to Publisher 10 version

Hi there, 
 We are working in a huge project which involves the translation for several manuals. the source format is Publisher 10. We have used the sdl publisher plugin to convert them into .xml format and translate them using SDL Trados Studio. So far, we have converted and delivered 4 of them and everything went fine. 
 However, I'm having trouble to convert one today. I've tried everything but it does not work. I'm getting this error message "The paragraph counts are different for shape id: 524" 
 Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

When are you getting this error? On converting the pub to xml, on saving the target xml in Studio, or converting the translated xml back into the pub format?

I have some files that Nadège Do Carvalho provided and I am unable to process them either. So, I have spoken to the developer and he is going to take a look when he gets some time to see where the problem might be. 
 
If you need to get this urgently then I'd recommend you try breaking up the source file and see if the problem is related to part of the file only and then you can pre-translate the file from your TM, put the pieces back together again and manually finish it.

 Maybe too late now, but thanks to some help from we have the solution and I was able to successfully round trip your source file and create a translated target. I'll drop you an email with the file, but here's the process to follow: 
 
 Open the source PUB file and save it in the version of Publisher you have on your computer 
 Now run the export process on this new file 
 Translate the XML, save the target 
 Run the import process 
 All is well 
 
 The problem was caused because the application uses the version of Publisher you have installed and it will potentially change the structure of the PUB file in the new version causing it to no longer match the original when you import. The result being you get a mismatch error. If you make sure the version of the source file is the same as the one on your machine, in my case Publisher 2016 and in Patricks case 2017, then all is well. We were both able to process the file like this. 
 It may not affect all files, it probably depends on the content. So anything that is handled differently between versions has the potential to cause an issue.
