SDL Apps - I can't find them - why are they not launching when downloaded and installed?

Question

Hi, I have downloaded and installed various apps from the store, most recently SDLXliff2Tmx. Same as the others, it downloads, I run it, click accept etc., and then nada! What am I doing wrong? Where do they all go? 
 
 Windows 7 Pro, Studio 2017

It depends on the app. SDLXLIFF2TMX is a standalone application. The direct link to the application if it installed is here: 
 
c:\Program Files (x86)\TMServe\SDLXliff2Tmx\SDLXliff2Tmx.exe 
 
Did you download the zip file to a folder on your computer first, then unzip it and then run the exe? Also may be worth running the exe with admin rights (right-click and run as administrator) in case your windows setup is being over protective. 
 
What other apps did you try to download?

That's great... hope you found the roadshow useful? 
 
This is also a standalone app and there is no Trados icon for it. You start this separately as a standalone tool. If you really want them to start in Studio then you can download and install the Menumaker app which provides a simple way to add standalone applications like these to your Studio navigation menu.
