Where do you usually install your SDL app/plug-in?

Dear colleagues, 
 I have been meaning to ask this question: Which location should I install my SDL apps at? 
 Studio offers three locations: All your domain machines (default), Local machines and Program data. Is the default location the best option for me (I use two computers, one desktop and one laptop under the same wifi network), or should I install an app in a different location? 
 Thank you for your suggestions.

It all depends on how you work. These options were put there to give administrators more control over rolling out apps. For single users it's normally enough to go with the defaults and install into the domain machines which is the AppData Roaming folders. 
 
If you use the Roaming and are working in a domain then all the computers you log into with the same windows username will have the files in there already available to them. 
 
If you use the local then the files will only be available on the machine you installed into. 
 
If you use Program Data then you open up the possibility for all users in the domain to share the same files irrespective of their windows username.

Hi Chunyi, 
 
It's pretty simple to test what happens, just install a plugin and watch what happens if you reinstall it by looking in the folders. You should see that if you reinstall in a different location then the plugin manager will remove the app from the existing location and place it into the new one. So you should have no problems.
