But actually, after some days it started to do the same for me regardless of logging in to Linguee.

Then I tried the "disabling Active scripting in Internet Explorer" method you can find here in other posts. But then I could not use the Glossaries of Proz.com site in Web Lookup.

So I tell you my best solution up to now: I opened Internet Explorer and in "Internet Options" - "Security" tab there is the last icon with "Restricted sites". If your set the "*.linguee.com" there as restricted site then it will restrict this exact site and the Ads will not appear and will not cause memory leak. And every other website just working fine as they are not affected.

I have tried the logging into Linguee option and it works fine so far.

I have now read your post and added Linguee in "Restricted sites".

I am running IE11 in Windows 7 64 bit and never found the "disabling Active scripting in Internet Explorer" option.
