open a .tmxl extension (Wordfast file) with TRADOS STUDIO 2017

Hi, 
 I have recently acquired SDL TRADOS STUDIO 2017, and I need to open a .tmxl extension (Wordfast file) with it. I don&rsquo;t know how to do it. I think I need a plug in? Could somebody help me? Thank you much. Silvia

Hi Silvia Gentili , 
 This file type definition is to be found in the AppStore. I will include it in this post but for future reference, here's how you would use the AppStore in this case: 
 https://appstore.sdl.com/language/app/file-type-definition-for-wordfast-txml/247/ 
 Click on the green 'download' button. 
 Log in or sign up using your SDL account ID & password. Then select 2017 here: 
 
 and tick the 'I agree..' box, 
 
 Then click 'Continue' and the plugin will be downloaded to your usual downloads folder. Then go to that place and double-click the icon. 
 I've attached it here, zipped: 
 Sdl.Community.FileType.TXML.zip 
 Right-click on it in your downloads folder and select 'Extract...' or 'unzip' similar. 
 Double left-click on the blue icon to install the plugin.
