Problem with Glossary Converter

Hi everyone. I have a problem with Glossary Converter. I have Trados Studio 2017, and Glossary Converter tells me it can't detect Multiterm. I have seen that this problem has already been addressed, but from what I understood, at the time, there was no solution. Has it been solved now? Thanks

  • Can you please make sure you have Multiterm Desktop 2017 installed on your PC and updated. If you have it, please make a repair of it by following the below steps:

     Run a repair installation

    1. Close all SDL applications.
    2. Open the Control Panel:
      • Windows Vista/7Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
      • Windows 8: Right-click on the screen at bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel > Uninstall a Program.
      • Windows 10: Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features.
    3. Right-Click/highlight the relevant SDL product from the list (e.g. SDL Multiterm Desktop 2017) and click Repair.
    4. Restart Multiterm.
