Dear all,

We would like to work with DeepL on a project (DE-EN) with several Word files but it is not working properly.

These are my preparations:

-"Apply automated translation when no TM match is found" is selected

-I filtered for repetitions and locked them except for the first occurrence (because I thought that they don't need to be sent to the MT twice)

-for the DeepL translation I deactivated the customer specific TM

-I downloaded the app on May 2nd, I am not sure what version it is

When trying to pretranslate, we encountered several problems.

-for some files we received error messages and they were not pretranslated at all:

                -The end tag </1> does not have a matching start tag

                -The start tag with the ID '147' does not have a matching end tag within the segment

                -The end tag </2> does not match the start tag with ID '299'

I checked the files and changed the settings, so I could see the IDs of the tags. The tags mentioned seem correct, so I don't understand what the problem is. I don't understand what the first message is referring to.

-some files were mostly pretranslated, but some segments are empty

                -I suspect this has something to do with me locking the repetitions (most of the empty segments - but not all - are repetitions)

-sometimes when the whole segment is in capital letters it is not translated to English but just the German version was put into the target segment (for other segments in capital letters it worked fine)

Does anyone have an idea how to solve these problems?
