How is a payment method assigned to an App?
All I can find is that payment via a third-party provider, such as PayPal, is possible, but I cannot find any means of making such an assignment.

Hello Anthony Rudd ,
There is no mechanism for managing payments in the AppStore, you have to make your own arrangements. Probably the best way is include a small sample in the AppStore and then redirect the potential purchaser to wherever you sell from.
The paid or free boxes are purely information so the user can see immediately whether a purchase will be necessary.
Why not see how others manage this on their app records?
