PPF Transit file doesn't open for translation

Question

Hello, 
 would appreciate any help please. I can't open the PPF Transit file for translation in Trados. 
 I have downloaded the Transit Package Handler app and was able to open the project in Studio 2017. I can now see the Transit file in the Projects/File folder. However, when I double click the file to open it for translation, a window pops up asking me How do I want to open this file. It doesn't automatically take me to the Editor View. 
 I'm using Windows 10. I believe there are some problems with that. But what is the solution? 
 Does it mean Trados doesn't recognise the Transit file?

There has been a report of problems with this app and W10 and we will be investigating this in the near future. But if you actually managed to create the project I think you have already got further than the reported issues. Are you sure you are in your target language and not the source language of your project? I can't think of a reason why you wouldn't be but it seems an odd message so I just wanted to make sure.
