Does anyone know of a reliable app that can be used either for converterting the exported TM contents from Simplified to Traditional Chinese or as a sort of plug-in tool in Trados Studio enabling our Simplified Chinese translator to produce Traditional Chinese characters ? Thank you very much!

There are no apps that I'm aware of for Studio that can do this. You could use SDLTMConvert tool to export your TM to text perhaps, then run the text through a conversion tool, copy back into the text. Then copy the source and target texts you get from SDLTMConvert to CSV/Excel and run it through the Glossary Converter to get a TMX. Then upgrade the TMX back to an SDLTM.
You would lose tags in this process however, so may not be the most desirable approach.
