I'd just like to ask if the new version of the MS Grammar Checker works well in Studio 2019. Last time I downloaded it, I couldn't use it, as it was so slow. ¿Anyone has a more recent experience with it?

As mentioned already there won't be an update to this plugin unless Microsoft release an API to handle it properly. The plugin developed was a bit of a hack to get around the lack of a proper API and it never worked really well anyway. In fact in the testing I have been doing recently I don't think it works very well in Word either!
I'd recommend you take a look at the Language Tool plugin in which is a pretty good grammar checker:

And if you work with French you might find that Antidote Verifier is a really good alternative:

Thanks, Paul. I tried to use Language Tool, but my system seems to have a problem with the Java framework and I can't get it work. My workaround now is just to export the texts into Word and use the included grammar checker, it takes a bit more time but it's effective.
