Hi everyone,
I am also having the same problem as others had. Had to update to SDL 2019 with a new subscription, and now it says it doesn't find any licence required for Antidote (SDL 15/17/19), which is impossible since I still have one day left of 17 and a year for 19. I just activated the licence an hour ago. I am just supposed to wait until the licence database updates? I am in a rush and need to finalised a few projects.

It is said here that Starter edition doesn't support apps, but as the post writer points out, I was also able to use it with SDL17. If 19 is now blocking it, this is a huge turn down.

What version specifically of Studio are you using? Freelance or Starter?
You cannot run apps with the Starter Edition full stop. So if you are using Starter there are two things I'm wondering about:
1. How did you even get the app since the appstore would not let you download with only a Starter Licence in your account?
2. I'm wondering how you used it in the product once you managed to get it from somewhere?

Well I don't know. I am currently still able to download the Antidote version for my 2017 Starter edition from the AppStore (one day left on my licence). It has always been working for me, and apparently for others as well according to the other post I linked. That's why I believed it possible. I wish I had known that before resubscribing, it might have influenced my decision. Thank you for your quick answer.
Running apps has never been allowed using the Starter edition. This is clear when you purchase the product. If it became possible to download them, and it sounds as though it did then we will ensure this is fixed so that it is not possible any more.
If you can't download them now then this is the correct behaviour because you don't have the correct licence in your account.
