Hi,
I am using Studio 2019 about a semester now and had no issues. Recently I installed an update the system suggested, and the last two days every functionality extremely slow, from copy-paste, to look-up and confirming segments.
The general health of my laptop is quite good, 12% of fragmentation, CPU is not heavily working, so cannot figure it out. Especially since it's only this software that's suddenly slowed down too much!

Assuming you are using Studio on a private computer connecting to the web via normal internet (and not via a corporate/university domain), the most likely cause of sluggish performance is your AntiVirus software.
After updating Studio- you should also make sure MultiTerm is also up-to date and then add both applications to your AntiVirus 'whitelist'.
Then restart your PC and Studio.

Did that, also installed 8 more GB ram (total now 16), cleaned generally my PC, all working much faster now, but Trados Studio is still very slow. Work is really difficult!! Are you sure there is no problem with the SR2 upgrade? Can I return to the SR1 if the problem isn't solved?
Ignore the previous! Finally, solved it. I uninstalled a mirroring software I had and trados studio functionality returned to its normal tempo. The question remains why the problem started as soon as I installed the SR2 update? Do you know whether it had increased system requirements?
