We are using the tauyou MT plugin (appstore.sdl.com/.../), but it does not seem to be supported in Studio 2017 (currently running version 14.1.10011.20356), even though the download package contains an installer for Studio 2017. According to the developer it should work in 2017, but not before making some changes in Studio. Any idea on what would need to be done in Studio to make the plugin work?
First of all you should contact the developer. These details are in the appstore if you scroll down a little:
Secondly, it would be useful to know what happens... any error messages for example?
Thirdly... you should try updating Studio. That might help too. It could be that the app just needs to be updated.

I did contact the developer, and they told me that it should work after something is changed in Studio to allow this (but did not remember what it was). When trying to install the plugin from folder "for Studio 2017" in the download package, Studio 2017 is not recognised as a compatible version.
The problem here is clear... the developer has set the manifest incorrectly in the plugin. The reason for Studio 2017 being greyed out is because of this:
The developer needs to update his plugins. I'll drop him an email and explain so you don't have get stuck in the middle!
