Hello!
Is it possible to pseudo-translate selected segments in a document and use deepl ?
Up to now the pseudo-translation with Trados was giving totally strange results. Does anyone have a good experience with deeple ?
Thanks a lot!

Pseudo-translation and DeepL are completely different things. Pseudo-translation is designed to fill your translations with text that is typical of the language you are working into so you can do further testing or accessment of workload that might be required outside of the actual translation... but it's not actually a translation. So things like DTP for example.
DeepL does not do any Pseudo-translation. It provides a proper translation that faithfully (as faithfully as a computer can do it) reflects the source content.
Are you sure you are not just getting confused with Pre-translation?

No I don't but thanks a lot Paul!
Can you elaborate a little and explain why you would want a pseudo-translate from DeepL?

you are right or I missunderstood, my mistake sorry. So is it possible to pre-translate a document with deepl ?
No problem valérie Galichon... I thought I guessed what you meant in the end.
Yes, you can pre-translate with DeepL. Just use this option in your pre-translate settings when you run the batch task:

but can I select the segments that I want to be translated ?
Well... you can lock everything you don't want to be translated first.
