Hello the Community,
I am new with Studio and all the possibilities, it seems you will able to help me solve a problem.
I try to start using Glossary Converter, very easy to use app... (Jose Blanco), but the app is unable to connect to Excel or LibreOffice, so it s not possible to convert a file.
Can somebody help me to solve the problem, it seems I should have to enforce LibreOffice.

Thanks, but where can I find MultiTerm Convert.
I couldn't find it in the AppStore.
If you installed MultiTerm, which presume you have done since the Glossary Converter won't work without it either, then you have already installed MultiTerm Convert.
Press your windows key and type Multiterm Convert... it'll come up.

OK it works pretty good, very easy, But I still try to find a solution for Glossary Converter on my PC (Windows 7 Pro). I installed it on another PC (Windows 8 from my son) and it works fine.

I know there's a new version in the wings that doesn't need Excel at all, so that might help you. but W7 could also be the source of the problem. Perhaps make sure you are fully updated with all the service packs. I don't know if this will help but W7, even though it doesn't seem that long ago, is almost out of support anyway.

Hi Bernard, feel free to try the beta: http://cerebus.de/glossaryconverter/beta/ At this time, I'm just waiting for localisation, so it has the full functionality of the coming release.
Hi Paul, thanks for your message. I am used to work with LibreOffice 6.3 and Glossary Converter seems to not recognize it. So it didn't work. In between I reinstalled an older MS Excel 2002, and now Glossary Converter works fine. W7 is more and more the source of many problems. For the moment I am in lockdown in Martinique French West Indies and my new W10 laptop is in Europe, so I will have to wait.
I will also try the new beta version from cerebus. And thank you for your support, it's a pleasure for me to chat with Trados people.
