Could you try again adding Edge to your project.

I tried this myself and for a few minutes had the same issues of freezing. This seems to have just been a temporary connectivity/server issue and is now working properly-

Sorry, nothing changed here. It can't be a server issue, since there is no valid server to connect to yet. I start by, for example, pressing the "m" key. Studio immediately freezes/goes to busy, presumably trying to connect to the server address "m". It then takes 20-60 seconds to become responsive again. Since the keyboard buffers a few keystrokes, I can get, say, 5 key strokes in the buffer, and Studio will be out for 4 minutes.

Once it is set up, it works. The problem is in the setup dialog while changing the server (or port) text field.
