I hope you are well.
I work in a translation agency where there have been issues with SDL Analyse for a few months. When the app starts, it shows the message "SDL Analyse service is not available, please make sure the service is running". We work with the latest CU of Studio 2017 SR1.
We read topics on this forum -as well as Paul Filkin's article about SDL Analyse- and tried the following solutions:
- Uninstall, download again and reinstall SDL Analyse.
- Deactivate the app's automatic start with Windows Services and switch to manual start.
- Restart the application when it shows the message (always the same as above), still with Windows Services.
We also saw topics about issues due to a Windows account, but it does not apply to us as we don't have such account. We haven't got any more ideas and we haven't seen new solutions on the forum. Maybe we missed something. Has somebody a way to help us?
