Try changing the order in your project settings. If IATE is below your other termbases does this improve the situation?

thanks for your hint. I have tried to move IATE in all possible positions but it doesn't improve the situation. I have tried it in another project too but it has the same behavior.

I have also noticed that (with IATE in the term list), in the termbase search settings, if I select the first or the third option:

I see a few terms in Term recognition pane (although it doesn't display all the possible matches).

Is there anything else I could try?

What happens if you disable all the termbase providers apart from IATE? Does this work properly?

Also, is this the version of Studio and Multiterm you're using?

I'm afraid not. I have also tried to remove all termbases and then to load IATE but without success.

I confirm I have Studio and Multiterm versions you have mentioned.

I'm not really sure what to suggest.  I just installed the plugin into 2017 and ran a quick test:

It is a bit slow, and it definitely doesn't return everything, but I am seeing results. Perhaps your internet connection is part of the problem?

Thanks for trying that.

My Internet connection is not very fast 15 MB download and 1 MB upload.

I have not experienced issues on projects with server-based termbases though so I guess that issue is not caused by this Internet connection.

By the way, now I see that Termbase Viewer do display some IATE terms even with other 4 enabled termbases.
