I recently downloaded SDL Trados Studio 2021 - 16.0.0.2838 and for my surprise, I can't use Google Translate API because there is no option in "Project configuration" to add my credentials to use Google Translate API. I am wondering if this is a general issue or I am missing something in the configuration.

Trados Studio 2021 has removed a few of this things that were either not necessary anymore or so old they were hardly used by anyone. This made it possible to reduce the size of the application, start work on improving performance and ensure we can more easily support the features in future because we don't have to keep thinking about legacy code.
The Google MT provider was one of these things. So, if you want to use Google now it's still possible, but yo do it but going to the appstore integration and look for MT Enhanced like this:
Then look for the app and install it:
Click the message and you'll be prompted to restart Studio which will complete the installation process:
You can go through and install as many apps as you like before restarting, and you can download as many as you like at the same time. So a much easier and more efficient way of working with the appstore. Now you have this:
The MT Enhanced version has two options, Google is one of them.
Select it and enter your key:
Note the additional options in here which is why we decided not to keep the other one:

Hi Paul, I have the following error when I try to download a Plugin in Studio 2021 (download failed, plugin not found).
Hmnnn... I checked it and it works for me:
So... please can you make sure that you have signed into Studio at the top right?

Mmm, there is a connectivity issue. But my Internet connection is working fine. Maybe I should try again later.
It seems that my 2021 license is not taken into account yet. ;-)
I have only one account and my license is correctly upgraded.
