No bug here... it's just an option that defaults to a setting to prevent you from being billed for things you have already translated.  You have two ways to avoid this:

1.  also clear the status of your merged segments to "not translated" and without content, OR
   
   
2. change the default setting here to resend the segments anyway:

I did not make myself clear. The situation is like this:

1) The 5 segments are all correctly translated and confirmed, but the segmentation is actually incorrect.

2) I combined the 5 segments, and I got this:

3) I press "Ctrl+Z" for "undo", and I got the original translation back, merged as one line:

If I do either things you suggested above, the plugin will send the combined source to Google which then returns a "raw" translation which requires manual revise:

What I'm trying to get is the translation as in step 3 above, but without having to press "Ctrl-Z" to "undo" the error message. Is this possible?

I think it must be me who is not making himself clear because you are showing screenshots that have not done any of the things I suggested.

So, I have this:

I merge segments 4-8 and get this, as you do:

So, the solutions were two options.  The first to make sure the status is not translated as it is currently draft:

Then I get this:

In your case this isn't the best solution since you're merging.  So use the second solution I suggested instead.  Change the option so the plugin behaves exactly the same way as the old Google API in 2019 did:

Now you get this when you merge irrespective of the status:

With this option you will never see that message again.

I hope this is more clear this time?

Thank you again, Paul. Apparently there are some miscommunications between us.  :-)

Anyway, I can live with a "Ctrl-Z" to undo the error message, which keeps the edited translation merged, without sending the source to Google again.
