Sorry for all the error reports, but I guess it's the firefighting phase after a major version release...
The XLIFF Manager is acting strangely for Studio 2021, it worked beautifully for Studio 2019.
First of all, the icon in the appstore is somewhat random. Usually it has the "Record Source TU" icon for me, but now it has Modern MT:
Just now it disabled ModernMT and DeepL. (Uninstalling XLIFF Manager fixed it.) Somewhere there must be a bug or two...

The icon thing is just a refresh issue and can be different depending on the speed of your connection since the icon is pulled down from the hosting site each time you go there. I wanted this to be saved local so future access attempts are faster but there was some technical reason why we didn't do this... can't recall now. The result being it's sometimes a bit behind. For me it's fine...
On the problem you're having with this... it could be related to a problem that was discovered in this thread:
Try removing the modernMT plugin completely by making sure it is not in these folders at all:
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins\Packages\
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins\Unpacked\
Then reinstall through the appstore and it should hopefully be fine.

I followed your suggestion, but there were no traces of the ModernMT plugin left after uninstall. I reinstalled it, everything fine. I reinstalled XLIFF Manager and although there were no errors yet (they always take some time to come), the screens look odd.

1) Wrong icon
2) No description in right-hand panel
What could be the reson for that?

This is actually a good example of how disciplined we need to be in accepting plugins to the appstore with 2021. There is really no room for inconsistency and this one is all on me as I published it!
If you look at the appstore description (at least this is how it was before I just changed it) you see this:
In the plugin manifest the app description is this:
Note that they are not the same. They must be the same.
I have just corrected the description in the appstore so all being well once this replicates to our hosted server for the appstore the display will be good (probably in around 10 mins after I post this).
