I haven't seen this before, but would like to be able to reproduce if you can help with the steps?  I think Andrea-Melinda Ghisa would also be interested in this.

I am also experiencing this problem with the DeepL plug-in.

And the Xbench plug-in. They don't appear installed in the SDL Appstore section of Trados nor in the Plug-ins section.

However, the developer prefers to use his own installer instead of the sdlplugin installer so for this reason it may never appear in the installed section.

Hi, Paul. They don't appear installed, anywhere. Not even in the Plug-in section in Trados. I am also receiving the same message as Walter.
I started getting this message after I updated to the latest version of Studio 2021.

I just sorted it following these steps (just in case anyone has the same issue):

- Went to "Programme files", "SDL",  "SDL plugin installer folder", right click on "Sdl.Community.SdlPluginInstaller", "Run as admin".

- Here, I uninstalled my plug-ins and made sure there was nothing there.

- Then, in Trados Studio 2021, I logged out of my user. Closed Trados (make sure it is not running. You can use "Task Manager").

- I then installed the plug-ins using the downloaded files from the SDL Appstore (not through the Appstore in Studio).

- Opened Trados Studio 2021 and, voilà! They work!

If this error persists can you please open Task Manager and see how many "SDL Trados Studio" processes do you have open?

Please end all the processes form there and try to open Studio again.
