Recurrent problems Trados Studio 2021

Question

Hello,

I am experiencing some troubles with Trados Studio 2021:

1.- Start:

At start Studio says, from time to time, that it was unable to delete a plugin. It happens once then no.

What could be the cause and foremost the solution?

2.- MT Enhanced plugin:

The plugin works perfectly with Google, but not with Microsoft. I have to reenter my credentials that I have renewed (thinking it would solve the problem).

It is a strange behavior since there is no problem with Google.

3.-Termbases in local network:

I use my termbases from a local network hard drive. Every time I open Trados Studio I have to set the path for the termbase i am willing to use.

Is it the normal behavior?

I know that it does not work with TM, but I could not find anything for termbases.

4.- Third party plugin:

I am using Wordlight, downloaded from the AppStore. Trados warns me that the plugin was not validated by SDL and ask if I want to use it.

That a good warning in essence, but we would somehow expect that plugins offered via the AppStore are verified.

This process delays Trados Studio start up, and implies that we stay in front of the computer to validate the prompt.

Is there a way to validate the plugin for ever, with a case to click where it would say "Don't show this again?

 I suggest you clean up your plugins and install them again. The best way is to do a thorough clean. M anually remove all your plugins from all of these locations and then reinstall the latest ones from the appstore.

 Most likely you need to double check that there has been no changes with your Microsoft account and double check you have the correct code.

 This screenshot has nothing to do with termbases. This relates to the MT Enhanced plugin which looks as though it was added to your project template, but isn't actually installed at all. 
 Adding TM or Termbases from your local network is possible and if the address keeps changing then you probably need to speak to your IT.

 This may be an installation issue that we have seen a few times now and haven't found the cause yet. When you clean out your plugins reinstall using the integrated appstore first and see if the problem is solved. If not, clean them out again and this time install by downloading from the appstore and installing manually.
