To download and install this particular plugin, you need admin rights on your computer, so you can download and install software programs. For e.g. if you are working within a company, and your IT department has restricted downloads and installations on your computer, this means you don't have admin rights. If you are using a PC, and you are the main user, the administrator, then you should have admin rights on your computer, as you should be able to download software from the internet and install it, as your operating system (Windows OS) recognizes you as an admin and let you perform these tasks on your computer. Yes, Adrian, it makes sense. However, my operating system womehow does not recognise me as the main user maybe? Or the problem why I can download the IATE plugin but it does not work on by PC with SDL studio 2019 is something else. Thanks, Katarina

Hello Katarina,

I believe you should have an IT person look over your settings on your Windows, and fix the issue with admin rights. Otherwise, you will simply no be able to download and install this plugin, unfortunately.

Hi Adrian,

I finally figured out the issue with admin rights. I verified that I have admin rights. I actually could download the plugin without problems. The problem is that I have a recognition issue with it which I cannot solve. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I wonder whether the plugin works for anyone with SDL Studio 2017 at all.
