I suggest you use studioViews and not Split and Merge.  The Split and Merge app is too difficult to maintain as it's a very old codebase and fraught with difficulties every time Trados Studio releases a new version.  studioViews is well supported, doesn't have the same problems, and offers a lot more functionality and robustness.

Thanks for your quick response :).

we have able to split file through StudioView but when we run analysis on split files it shows 0 wordcount, even though content present in split files.

I had a quick go and split one file into 5.  First thing is I get this:

The report from here gives me the wordcount, so I have that already:

I then added these split files to a project and ran the wordcount:

They match the split report perfectly.

I think, if you have a problem then you'll need to provide some more information, such as the exact steps you followed, and maybe even the files if you can?
