Sorry to hear you have this issue.

What version of Trados Studio are you using? 
You can check this by going to Help Tab - then About Trados Studio.

Also what version of the app are you using? 
The latest should be 5.8.26.0 

You can check by going to

1. C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins\Unpacked
2. DeepL Folder
3. Open pluginpackage.manifest.xml

*Just be cautious that "AppData" in step 1 is a hidden folder so you may need to adjust your folder views

Much like hiding items (folders) as my screen print above shows. It is possible that file name extensions are hiding too. 
So while you dont see the xml, you must surely have pluginpackage.manifest 

There is not that much I can find on this error, so perhaps you can clarify if it ever worked in Studio?
If yes, when/what changed that prompted it not working?

All I can suggest at this stage is:

• Ensure you have 5.8.26 version installed
• Remove it and reinstall the plugin, by using solution 2 as noted in this article: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0039435
• Double check your DeepL key
