Hi! I am trying to use the Split/Merge App for the first time. I managed to split a file. Then I translated the smaller files. Now I am trying to merge them into one file again.
What does "Split Into file" path refer to?

If you are using Trados Studio 2021 I'd recommend you don't use this app at all. Better to use studioViews as it's more stable ad a lot more flexible.
But if you insist... "split info file" refers to the path you are using for the small file containing information about the split files.
Thank you. I am trying StudioViews. Is it normal for the Import step to take several minutes? I am working with 2 files of 6,000 words each.
It depends on many things... size of the file, number of words, complexity of the content, type of original file etc. It supports doing things like splitting and merging segments in the original split files... something the Split and Merge app will not support... and this sort of thing also comes with a penalty.
