I split a big Word file into 5 splits and then remerged them. In the target file the spaces between segments had been removed so sentences were concatenated, i.e; running into each other. The SDL helpdesk has not been able to solve the issue. Can anyone help ?
studioViews doesn't really merge, so I just want to make sure you don't mean "import" rather than "merge" which you would do if you used the "split and merge" app?
If you definitely used studioViews to split and then import the updated files then can you share the original project and the steps you used to do this?
In the meantime perhaps you can recover the translations by pre-translating against the TM used for the translation of the split files?
