Just installed my old Trados 2017 in my laptop. Client will be sending me WorldServer packages. Do I need anything to make sure I don't have compatibility issues? I only see regular "Open Package" and "Create Project Package" and "Create Return Package" in my ribbon. Will packages be fine in this version? WS Compatibility pack says it's only needed for 2021 version.

I think you do need to the correct compatibility pack installed - due to dependency changes and updates between 2017 and 2021.
