I have added your request for help with this to our current workload around this app.  We won't be able to get to this any time soon as we don't have enough developers in the team working on apps right now and those we do have are heavily involved in other tasks which take a priority over this.

We do have a plan to completely change the UI and UX for this plugin for several reasons:

1. the original developer is no longer with the company so anyone else is starting from scratch
2. the documentation we have isn't good enough to easily understand and work through the documentation for Google V3
3. the use of V3 and the plugin is quite hard to set up unless you really understand the overall process well

In the meantime, I like to remind users that we do opensource the code so any developer interested enough, and with time on their hands, could devote some effort to this and create a better version: https://github.com/RWS/Sdl-Community/tree/master/MT%20Enhanced%20Provider

There is also another plugin on the private appstore, "GoogleCloud'n Glossary", which also supports V3.  This is only available for 2021 so you're in luck.
