TTS is something we have already developed as a plugin: https://appstore.rws.com/plugin/93/
STT is something the core development team are working on to be able to better support the use of existing tools for this purpose, like Dragon for example. You can already use Dragon, but working with a combination of speech and keyboard is more efficient because of the lack of support for commands in the current Studio environment.

How many are there? I couldn't answer that question, but I can tell you all the versions available for the last 10-years or so will work, you just need to decide whether you want to work in the Studio Editor directly with voice for dictating text only, or the Dragon Dictation box where you can also use Dragon commands for all it's features and then push the text to Studio.
In my opinion working directly is better as many features in Studio are easily handled with keyboard shortcuts and you just dictate the text. But someone like Nora Díaz can provide far better and experienced, support for Dragon.
