glo is a format I don't know much about, so I didn't do much testing on it. It looks like the first language must be the source, which is a bit awkward, since you need to have different glossaries for projects with different source languages. And on top of that, you found a bug: the latest version introduces the option to sort fields alphabetically. That goes wrong for glo, where it sorts the actual data, but not the header. Since sorting isn't an option any way (due to the "source needs to be first" restriction), best to disable it. So, I think these steps will solve the problem:

• In Excel, make German the first language column
• in the Converter, go to settings/general and disable the Sort option

sdltb should be fine, too, since it needs no particular order

thank you very much for your reply as well as your explanations.

Unfortunately, as you can see on the screenshot, there isn't a sort option in the settings/general dialog an my pc. Or am I looking at the wrong place?

How can I disable the sort option in my case? Or is it already disabled, because it's not shown in the dialog?

oops, got my versions confused. That option is only in the latest beta: https://cerebus.de/glossaryconverter/beta/index.html

With beta version 6.2.8405 you should even be able to sort  and it will preserve the first (source) language. I aim to release it officially this weekend.
