Thank you very much for noticing my post.

I uninstalled files in my PC including the one in "Downloads", and downloaded GlossaryConverter again.

Then tried the way you suggested, but what I get was "Trying to connect MultiTerm..." message only.

I have GlossaryConverter on my taskbar as in below, but app does not launch on my desktop.

Should I uninstall Trados/Multiterm as well?

Anyway, I have no files worked on Trados yet, so if it makes sence, I will. (Only if I can reinstall the apps with my current license.)

Let me add to my previous post.  I do not see application window on my desktop.

It pops up on taskbar only, so I can not "drag and drop" to convert files.

My aplogy if images in my previous message made you confused.

Hi Naomi,

That problem look s familiar. The converter opened fine, but got confused about its position and is now at some (virtual) position outside your screen. Do have more than one screen, or sometimes change screen resolution? Those are possible causes. There are few things you can try.

1) Close the Converter: right-click on the task bar icon, select Close window

Then delete or rename this file: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\SDL OpenExchange\GlossaryConverter\settings.xml

That is where the startup screen location is stored, and deleting it should take care of any corrupt data.

2) Alternatively, you can move the off screen window back onscreen by some keyboard wizardry, as described, for example, here: https://desitsupport4u.des.wa.gov/hc/en-us/articles/360000289614-Move-a-Lost-Off-Screen-Window-Back-to-Your-Desktop

(Note that on Windows 11, only option #2 of that link works.)
