I have PRO plan wth DeepL and API stil does not work, keyis rckognized as invalid. Any solutions?

I also have a Pro Classic account, there are no issues accessing the API...
That's interesting. Was "Classic" an older plan? If not where is this documented?

It used to be the "Pro" plan, which was then succeeded by the pricing tiers you mention. The "Pro" plan was not cancelled but renamed to "Pro Classic". You can't subscribe to it anymore, you can only continue an existing subscription. I don't know why it says "unlimited use in a CAT tool", I think there is a 1 million character limit, then you have to pay for additional characters.

Marketing! I think they normally state "A fair usage policy applies". Then if you did a bit deeper through their T's & C's you'll find this:

File formats and file size
.docx - up to 10 MB
.pptx - up to 10 MB
.html - up to 5 MB
.pdf - up to 10 MB
.txt - up to 1 MB
Number of characters - Up to 1,000,000
That almost suggests the limit is a million chars per document as opposed to a million per month or some other undefined time period. It's a little unclear so I guess they strive not to put limits on, but if you abuse it by pre-translating millions of chars a day they may reserve the right to address this with you since they are trying to keep the costs down for everyone based on real translators using it appropriately.

Genral technical support DeepL confirms what Paul wrote. There are four plans promisingly available and only the last two support CAT tools.
