I have recently upgraded to Trados Studio 22 and was trying to re-download the Verifika plug-in but can no longer find it on the App Store. Does anyone know if this app has been permanently discontinued or if it will be re-released at a future date?

I'm afraid it was removed as a result of our company policy over the Ukraine situation. I'd like to think, and hope, it will be re-released at a future date.
Also note that if you find your old one it probably won't work with 2022 anyway due to the number of breaking changes in the API. So the developer would need to update it and we would need to be happy to support it.
Your best bet for a similar product now would be Xbench.
