Hopefully this is not coming too late, but please ensure you have the latest updated of studioViews installed 2.1.3.0 with improved performance and fixes of some known dependency issues.
Also, please keep in mind to have the latest Studio version updated to ensure compatibility with the plugin.

My current Trados version is 2022 - 17.1.8.17828, and the StudioViews version is 2.1.3.0... some files get stuck at the "reading segments" stage.

Have you tried with different files to see if the behaviour is still the same?
If the plugin gets stuck with these files only, may I take a look at them, to try and run some tests please?
