Apply Studio Project Template not working since the latest update CU7

I am getting a strange error when I use this app since the latest CU7 update. When I click on OK on the main screen with the settings set as I've always set them, I get the following message:

Is there a plan to update the app?

    I get the same problems as you, even after product reinstall/recreation of templates and all cleanup tasks I have been able to think about.

    In my case, I get this additional error message after the template/task is applied:

     

    Also, I have some added problems: 

    1) I cannot apply the template to several files, it only gets applied to the 1st one selected and then the error breaks the application to the other ones.

    2) The selection of settings applied is not remembered from one use to the next (it was remembered before), so every time I have to choose again the ones I want applied. This probably is related to the fact that the template names in the selection dropdown always appear with an asterisk, even the Default one: 

    I do not know if this does help you at all or just increases confusion... I hope it helps.
