I suppose it is possible to write a prompt for the OpenAI plugin to tell it to translate term A into term B. But I can't figure out how.

I assume that if you have Term A and Term B listed, you could easily add that to a glossary / term list.
You may find managing terms easier than prompts. Especially if you have several on the go.
The reason I mention this, is because you can use your target translation (term included) and then run OpenAI based on target.
Benefit would be to fine tune OpenAI output based on target translations including your term.

But how do I combine a glossary with the Open AI plugin?
Mats Linder at this stage you cant.
The true source of where OpenAI gets its output from is fixed and is not trained on a per users basis/data sample set.
But as I mentioned in my post, if you use glossaries as part of your original translation then use OpenAI to fine tune the output you may very well get an improved output.
I dont know what format your glossaries are in, but Trados Studio as many ways to input term data as part of term recognition.

Sure; I just thought it would be good also to combine it with the OpenAI plugin as well. Anyway, I can tell you that running it on the target translation, also telling it to substitute a couple of terms, worked fine. (Telling it to make the language a bit more "smooth" gave a good result.)

I just said (but in Swedish) Change X into Y. Change Z into W. (Byt X mot Y. Byt Z mot W.)
