I'm in the same situation. Other threads on this website indicate that the Trados 2022 service release 2 broke the plugin and that they are trying to fix it. 

Yes, the nice lady in the chat said that I needed to deactivate/unistall Trados SR2 and install SR1 instead, that the plugin only works for SR1. To be honest, I don't know what the difference is between SR1 and SR2, so I've just installed it and am about to try it out. I will let you know how it goes.

This plugin has been updated and also considerably enhanced.  Users who have access to Azure OpenAI will be able to to configure the plugin to work with this as well.

Thank you for the update. Unfortunately now I'm getting the "Too many requests" error despite having a paid account with credit and not having gone over any limits....hrm.

Using the OpenAI API is subject to sharing the load with millions of users and as a result you are at the mercy of the performance of their servers.  However, it may be worth deleting your API key in your OpenAI account and generating a new one. If you continued to work with the key you had prior to adding your credit card details and creating a paid account we have see this getting stuck.

Worth try anyway... and also test your key with the new Test feature in the plugin.  Does that work?

Hi Paul, I am trying to make it work, but I am not capable. I deleted and recrated a couple of APIs, but nothing is working. In the new plugin's settings there is a button "Test the connection", and the plugin always fails to connect to OpenAI and gives me the error "Connection Failed, Code: NotFound, Message: Not Found. I have no idea, where I can look for other clues/instructions to make the plugin work. Maybe you have some ideas?

Thank you for providing your log files.  I have reviewed them this morning and confirm that you are attempting to access the correct model (e.g. gpt-4).  However, the message that is returned from the sever indicates that you don't have access to the gpt-4 API.

The exact message that is captured from your log file:
Message: The model `gpt-4` does not exist or you do not have access to it. Learn more: https://help.openai.com/en/articles/7102672-how-can-i-access-gpt-4

You also receive the following 429 response which indicates that you might have limited access:
Message: You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details. For more information on this error, read the docs: https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/error-codes/api-errors

I recommend the following:

• Confirm with OpenAI that you can access to the model gpt-4 via API.
• Check your usage and confirm you have not exceeded your quota from here: https://platform.openai.com/usage

To check if you can access gpt-4, you can run either of these scripts from your computer:

cURL command

• Install cURL if not installed on your computer
• Run the following command from the commandline (cmd).

I've never gotten the OpenAI plugin to translate anything.

I paid for the OpenAI API and got a working API key.

I tried Patrick's cURL command with my API key and it works perfectly; I immediately get a translation back.

In the Trados OpenAI app, however, nothing ever appears in the "Translation Suggestions" field.

When I click "Test" on the app it reports "Connection successful".
