DeepL Plugin - Punctuation settings for different languages (e.g. curly apostrophes, guillemets etc.)

Hi all,

we're using the DeepL Pro Plugin in Combination with TMs for the pre-translation of files.

We have noticed that the output always inserts most of the punctuation unformatted, e.g. "text" instead of « text ».

For French, some of the formatting settings are alright, e.g. the space before ? oder : are inserted automatically.

Here's an example:

Screenshot of Trados Studio showing unformatted punctuation in the DeepL Pro Plugin translation output, with colons and quotation marks not following French language rules.

How do I get the plugin to punctuate according to the rules of the target language? Is there a way to adjust it in the settings?

Project languages in the example were DE-DE and FR-FR. In this particular example, the DeepL plugin was the only resource used for pre-translation. It shows the same effects when we have TM/DeepL in combination.

Version info: We're still using Studio 2021 SR2. (Would upgrading to a newer version make any difference?) and DeepL Pro 5.8.26.0

Thanks in advance for your help!
