Is your custom translation using AutoML or Google API?
Currently, we are only supporting AutoML (plans to upgrade this soon)

You can see this by opening the JSON in something like Notepad++ and looking for what I underlined below



Failing that I would ensure all your permissions are in place when you created the service account by which your JSON file is created against.

The fact that yours has

tells me that its not AutoML. If you remove this line from the JSON file the app will accept the JSON  - but its not been thoroughly tested what the output would be. AKA custom or generic. 

We have SDLCOM-4850 as a development tasks whereby we want to support Google API in Studio also.
I dont have an estimate when this will be delivered. In the meantime, we do support GoogleAPI via Languge Cloud / Trados Live if you are able to incorporate this as part of your Translation Project solution.
