The problem didn't go away on its own. None of the suggestions helped and the error still persists. How to fix it or when to wait for the application update to try to connect via api in the new version?

Hi Terry Ball , sorry to hear you are still have issues with connecting OpenAI from the plugin.  Let's see if we can connect to your openAI account from outside the plugin. Can you try this and confirm?  We can test with a powershell script also if you prefer, let me know.

1. Install cURL if not installed on your computer
2. Run the following command from the commandline (cmd).
3. The expected result is a response with the translation suggestion

I got a message like this.

Thank you very much. Thanks to cURL I realized that it was about the country I was trying to connect from. I connected to the api via vpn and everything worked. I'm testing now finally AI professional and looking forward to your updates to connect the latest chat gpt versions.

Hi Terry Ball , thx for confirming and also for the response message that you received.  This is very useful and will help us improve the UX as we'll need investigate and understand why this message "Country, region, or territory not supported..." wasn't pushed to the UI in the plugin.  (y)
