Newer releases of WebLookup use the browser component WebView2 which replaces the old and outdated Internet Explorer WebBrowser. 
WebView2 is based on the same technology as Edge but is completely separate - extensions and other customisations of Edge does not affect WebView2 at all.

Since some time extensions can now be used in WebView2 but they need to be installed specifically for each instance of WebView2. It might be possible to do this in WebLookup for Studio 2024.

Thanks for the clarifications, Mikael. However, I'm still having trouble understanding how to tackle this issue from your previous response. Would you be able to provide a step-by-step set of instructions?

I've also tried using a DNS server in my internet settings, but that doesn't seem to be helping with the WebLookup window. Is there anything else I should try?

Seems setting Restrict Scripts to Yes while using DNS server have helped

Hi Mikael, Does WebLookup work properly in Studio 2024 then? I'm still on Windows 10.

Weird, I'm on Win11 and Trados Studio 2024, but my Web Lookup doesn't have a "Restrict Scripts" column!

However, it does have something under Extensions that might solve the problem. Am gonna test it and see.
