Elisa Calderon this warning has been around for AGES.
It is always tricky when working across versions (application / Databases + API's) to ensure they are compatible and aligned.
Specifically as the core product + API's do sometimes have significant changes. 

The fact you can enable the option "Dont show this warning again" implies its not deemed a continuous critical issue.
I have yet to informed it actually corrupts anything but of course what you could do is save a backup of your TB till you complete your evaluations
