GoAnalyse plug in for Trados 2024 issues.

After upgrading from Trados freelance pro 2021 to Trados freelance pro 2024, I downloaded the Go Analyse plug-in from the RWS app store.

After the installation and setting operations, I tested the software, but the procedure ended with the following error message:

"License check failed, with exception: Sld.Project.automation.fileBased.LicensingException: A valid Full Trados License is required to use the Project Automation API in a standalone application, at SDl.ProjectAtumation.FileBasedProject.ChackLicense()".

Error dialog box with a red cross symbol indicating 'License check failed, with exception: Sld.Project.Automation.FileBased.LicensingException: A valid full Trados Studio license is required to use the Project Automation API in a standalone application.'

So it seems that the plug-in can not identify my Trados license. I have already asked Kaleidoscope for support, but they did not answered.

What am I supposed to do?

Thank you for your help.

"Question improvement suggestion": Please provide more information about the steps you took to install the Go Analyse plugin and any recent changes to your system. Also, specify your operating system and its version.

In the meantime, based on the information you have provided, here is a suggested answer to your question:

    Hello,

It seems like the Go Analyse plugin is having trouble recognizing your Trados license. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue:

Step 1: Close all Trados Studio applications.

Step 2: Navigate to the Plugins folder in your Trados Studio directory. You can do this by typing %appdata% into your Windows Explorer address bar, then going to SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16 for Trados Studio 2021 or SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15 for Trados Studio 2019. Rename the Plugins folder to Plugins_old or delete it.

Step 3: Go back to the Roaming folder, then go to SDL Community and delete the SDLMachine Translation Cloud folder.

Step 4: Go to the Local folder in Appdata and repeat the process of renaming or deleting the Plugins folder.

Step 5: Download and install the correct version of the Language Weaver Cloud plugin from the RWS AppStore. If you have Trados Studio 2021 CU3, install version 4.2.13.4. If you have Trados Studio 2021 CU8, install version 4.2.14.4.

Step 6: Check if the issue is resolved in Trados Studio.

If the issue persists, it might be a compatibility issue with the Go Analyse plugin and Trados Studio 2024. In this case, you might want to consider downgrading back to Trados Studio 2021 until the plugin is updated to support the 2024 version.

What am I supposed to do? I need very clear and easy instructions.
