Hi Katarzyna Kawalec , I've downloaded and installed the latest version just now and confirm it's working as epected with both V1 and V2 pro licences.  Can you check again and report back if this is still not working

Check that you have selected the correct API version.  If you have a pro subscription, then you would need to select V2 from the settings.

If the problem persists, possiblly check the message that is reported in the messages view from the editor.

Nothing is reported in the message view from the editor. No error messages, everything should be working but is not.

That isn't the messages view Patrick is referring to.  That's actually the useful tips.

Open a file in the Studio Editor for translation and then share a screenshot of the message view that will be a different tab in the same place as your translation results window here:

If the V1 is working then why don't you use that?  If the problem is just no results please try and narrow this down as you seem to have quite a busy project settings from what I can see behind the DeepL UI in your earlier screenshot.

Open a file for translation and ONLY add DeepL.  Does that work?

For this project with 'busy settings', there were no editor messages:

However, I created a new sample project with just a one-page file with only DeepL and it does work.

But when I add one big TM to the project, deepL stops working:

And when I deleted this TM and left just DeepL, it didn't get back to me, either.

It's disappointing that it doesn't work with all my settings incorporated from the 2019 version. There was never any issues with my loaded projects and since I upgraded it to the 2024, issues have been popping up regularly.

Thanks for your help anyway. So what's a general recommendation for my "busy" projects? I want to be able to use both DeepL and my memories at the same time.

The screenshot you're showing is the Fragment Matching window so I don't know what's happening wrt DeepL.  The messages pane is also off-screen... probably just after TQAs if you click on the small down arrow at the end.

It's never a good idea to rely on settings that worked in 2019 as there could have been changes several years later that affect the way these older settings work.  Perhaps remove DeepL from the Project Settings for those projects, and then add it back in and see if that helps?

Paul, I'm encountering the same problem, DeepL doesn't work in another project I just launched. I reinstalled it and still nothing. What should I do? Thank you.
