MIcrosoft Translator plugin and glossary

Question

Hello, 
 does somebody use the Microsoft plugin for MT translation? 
 It is possible to upload glossaries when creating a project in Trados. However I have no idea which format has to be used. Has somebody an idea or knows where to search in the web?

Hi Andreas Wietzke Apologies for the delay in reply. Glossaries what is not clear is what you are expecting. Would you like to manage glossaries within your MS Azure services so that when using the Microsoft plugin you will get MT output that automatically considers your managed glossaries? If yes then you need to access your Azure workspace and from there you can create a Dictionary set which relies on several supported file types including: txt, tmx, xlsx If however you want to use Microsoft plugin just for MT output. But use RWS glossary features as a separate reference for terminology verification then that is something entirely different. Most people start of with Excel lists using tools like: 
 
 TermExcelerator < - supports native excel term lists 
 Glossary Converter < - converts excels into file based SDLTB's 
 
 Both these apps have rich documentation to guide you further. 
 Also worth mentioning Trados Studio can work with file based glossaries as referenced above. However Glossary Converter can also help you create a termbase structure (xtd) and term lists in a supported format like (xml) by which then you may want to have your terms managed online using Language Cloud.
