DeepL plugin does not get installed

Question

Hi everyone 
 I just updated my Trados Studio license from 2022 to 2024 (18.0.2.3255) . I used to have and use the DeepL plugin (I have a regularly purchased API key). I downloaded the new plugin ( 7.0.8.2 - Trados Studio 2024 ) to the path 
 C:\Program Files (x86)\Trados\Plugin installer 
 I double-clicked on the plugin, Trados Studio is started, but the plugin won't eventually appear in the plugin window 
 
 PC specifications: 
 System: Windows 10 Pro 
 Version: 22H2 
 Installated on: 15/02/2022 
 Build: 19045.5608 
 
 I searched in the forum, I found threads about DeepL not working, not about plugin not being installed 
 
 Any idea?

Hi Sara Cagarelli , 
 Please run a search and remove the DeepL plugin from all these locations: 
 %APPDATA%\Trados\Trados Studio\18\Plugins 
 %LOCALAPPDATA%\Trados\Trados Studio\18\Plugins 
 c:\ProgramData\Trados\Trados Studio\18\Plugins 
 That way you&rsquo;ll start with a clean sheet, nothing will try to load into 2024 that should not be there. 
 Next, install again DeepL Tranlation Provider from the integrated appstore inside Studio. 
 Let me know if it works.
