InQuote problems

We have recently upgraded to Studio 2015 and have also installed the 2015 version of Studio InQuote.  We have uninstalled Studio 2014 and the InQuote version for Studio 2014. Every time we open Studio InQuote, we now have to change the ‘Path to projects’ to 2015 as it is still set to 2014 projects. By default it is automatically trying to find a folder which doesn't exist anymore and each time we open it we have to manually change it to where the 2015 projects folder is. Does anyone know if there a way to fix this please?

  • Hi Romulus

I have installed the latest version (2.0) for Trados 2019 but unfortunately InQuote has decided that my projects reside in "...\Documents\Studio 2015\Projects" (which has never existed), not "...\Documents\Studio 2019\Projects". After changing the path it reverts to "...\Studio 2015\Projects" on the next run.

I have tried to change this setting by opening and looking through all the human readable files in these folders to no avail:
    "C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\SDL\OpenExchange\Invoices And Quotes\"
    "C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Unpacked\Sdl.Community.InvoiceAndQuotes.Integration\"
    "C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\SDL Community\Invoice\"

Is the project path hardcoded in a .dll or some other file that cannot be edited?

Please tell me if this can be solved.
